Chr., die rechte um etwa 800 n. Chr.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ihre einzelnen Bauk\u00f6rper sind wie bei vielen anderen Dorfkirchen aus dieser Zeit in Sachsen-Anhalt gestaffelt angelegt; Im Westen erhebt sich ein gedrungener Wehrturm, an den sich ein einschiffiges Langhaus, ein rechteckiger Chor und eine halbrunde Apsis anschlie\u00dfen. Im 16. und 17. Jahrhundert wurde an der Bruchsteinkirche gebaut, das \u00c4u\u00dfere dabei aber nicht ver\u00e4ndert.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Die Ausstattung des Kirchenraums ist recht schlicht, weil die Seeh\u00e4user dort in der Mitte des 19. Jahrhunderts eine Heimatstube eingerichtet haben. Das steinerne Taufbecken in der Kirche scheint romanisch zu sein, die Empore stammt dagegen aus der Renaissance. Nach dem Zweiten Weltkrieg hat sich der Seeh\u00e4user Pfarrer Dietrich H\u00fcllmann sehr daf\u00fcr eingesetzt, St. Paul wieder sakral zu nutzen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mit den Jugendlichen des Ortes reparierte er damals die Kirche, so dass 1961 der erste Gottesdienst stattfinden konnte. Sp\u00e4ter fehlte das Material, um das immer schadhafter werdende Dach zu sanieren. So kam die Wende f\u00fcr St. Paul gerade im rechten Augenblick. Mit Hilfe des Kirchenkreises und des Landes Niedersachsen wurde 1990 der Dachstuhl repariert und das Dach neu gedeckt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Seit letztem Jahr wird das vollkommen durchfeuchtete Mauerwerk der Kirche saniert. Dank einer gro\u00dfz\u00fcgigen Spende kann sich die Deutsche Stiftung Denkmalschutz an den Arbeiten beteiligen. In diesem Jahr feiert man an vielen Orten Sachsen-Anhalts den zehnten Geburtstag der Stra\u00dfe der Romanik mit Festwochen, Ausstellungen, Konzertreihen und anderen Veranstaltungen.
